The map below outlines facilities in Canada and the United States that reported releases and transfers of pollutants in the Great Lakes Basin in 2002. Canadian facilities report to the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI). U.S. facilities report to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI). The map below is based on the pollutants and sectors for which TRI and NPRI can be matched.
